R.S : Aaron Chrome Interview

Interviewer: "So what is Aaron's role in this Remembering Sunday series?"

Me: "Well, Aaron is a very talented 18 year old teenager who has a very complicating life behind him. Hoping to change for the better, he took a different road in life, hoping to see a change and hopefully make a difference in his life and others."

Interviewer: "That's quite a kid.. Just curious, you said Aaron was very talented. In what way is he talented?"

Me: "Haha. I didn't bring my list. He's actually talented in many different ways and I can confidently say in a lot more ways than an average person would be. However, just to add on a little bit more, this "gift" is balanced by his darker life where he kept at such a low profile, almost no one knew about it."

Interviewer: "Wow. Is that cool or what? Haha. Alright, lets move on shall we? So, in the story, Aaron fell deeply in love with a girl name Juliet Rulle. Could you explain how this came about? As in, what made Aaron fall for her?"

Me: "It definitely wasn't a "love at first sight" situation. In fact he didn't even notice her until they coincidentally keep bumping into each other in camps. (Aaron is very active in school camps as it helps him relieve stress) And after some time, he began developing feelings for Juliet which grew deeper and stronger with every passing day. And there you have it."

Interviewer: "Reminds me when I was still a student back then.."

Love covers and surrounds your heart with glass. When broken, the shattered piece of the glass will pierce into the heart. However, like the glass surrounding the heart, it offers extra protection and makes one feel secured and safe.

When the day is long and the night,
the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on

Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries
and everybody hurts sometimes

Sometimes everything is wrong.
Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on

'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts.

Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life,
the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on

Aaron's heart was lifted into the sky as he walked out of the examination hall of his last paper.

"Finally! I'm free!" He exclaimed as he made his way to the bus stop with his classmates.

Along the way, he saw a familiar cute face from afar. As he peered closer, he felt a warm tingling inside.

"Hey Aaron." Juliet greeted with a smile.

"Hey love, where you headed to?" Aaron cheekily said.

"Hehe. I'm heading to the underpass." She giggled. "I've got my last paper tomorrow and I haven't study!"

"Bummer. Guess what? I'm done with my papers! I'm free!" He said with a wide grin.

"I can talk to her all day.." Aaron thought to himself as he felt a pleasurable sensation in him.

"Hmph.. No fair!" She sulked. "I don't care, I'm gonna enjoy myself after my exams!" She said and stuck out her tongue.

"Alrighty then, I have to go. Buhbye!" She said again with a grin and skipped off.

They then walked their separate ways, yet again.
A bittersweet feeling still lingered in Aaron as he reached the bus stop.
He has not gotten over his deep feelings for Juliet and by the looks of things, that won't happen anytime soon.

"Why? Whenever someone looks hard for something, he never seem to be able to find it. But when he's not looking for it, it always never fail to keep appearing in front of him." Aaron thought as he boarded his bus home.

Patience is the key to almost everything one would do or plan to do.
Be it in a normal day-to-day task, Career, Leisure, Competitive, to even Love (Relationships).

As the saying goes, "Good things come to those who wait."
It does contradict a bit but for better understanding, I shall explain (a brief one).

Being patient has it's time and period. If you're just beginning to like someone, relax, learn more about her first.
When you're satisfied, don't wait too long. Approach her. After which, if it's a yes, take your time and play your game, you got her!
And if it's a no, don't cry. It's not the end. If you wanna move on, do it; do not linger in the past. If you still want her, be patient let her cool off and go slow on her. Maybe she doesn't have feeling for you now. But no man can read the future accurately.

So, single or not, don't rush things. Work at your on pace. It never fail to pay off.

** ** ** **
Unless it's your career and you have a scheduled deadline, then patience in this sense is to be patient with the things and people you're working with. The last thing you need is to have a fire breaking out in the team.

Cheers! ;)

I never dreamt it'd be this way
I've lost any chance for me to say
To say that I miss you, say that I love you
Will someone please tell me I'm okay

I wasn't prepared for what's to come
A life made of memories gone so young
And now I'm regretting all I've done
But in your heart know that I'm with you all along

Wherever you go, I will be waiting
Whenever you call, I will be there
Whatever it takes, I'll make your darkest days so bright
I'm in your heart tonight

I never thought that this could go
And take me away from all I know
And leave me to think I'm on my own
But your love will take me, you were the one...

...Who sat through nights
You held me tight
And made sure I'm okay
And I thank you for the love you gave to me

Wherever you go, I will be waiting
Whenever you call, I will be there
Whatever it takes, I'll make your darkest days so bright
I'm in your heart tonight...

"Another day, another few hours wasted in this shit hole." Aaron thought then smiling to himself.

Looking out into the vast waters surrounding Keppel Island, the picture of Tioman still fresh in his memories, he smiled again on the sweet memories. The sun had long settled into the east and the night has engulfed Singapore.

"A pity that you can hardly see stars in this semi-urban jungle." He thought again.

"Hey." Aaron felt a pat on his back. "Why so 'emo'?"

He turned to see his good friend Kai smiling at him from ear to ear. Kai was Aaron's good friend since high school and they have been close ever since.

"Heh. It's nothing man. Just enjoying the scenery, the breeze, the night. That's all." Aaron said, smiling back at his old mate.

"I know something's bothering you man. I've known you since you were thirteen! Now that's five years of experience." Kai said, leaning onto the railing nearby. "So what up dog? What's bothering you?"

"She did not reply to any of my text messages and she hasn't gone online for the past 2 weeks. I really miss her and I think she's trying to avoid me." Aaron finally said.

"Dude, relax man. Ya know, if you can't get her, like I said before, there's plenty of fishes out there. And you are a cuisine to them fishes out there. So no worries yeah." Kai patted Aaron's back, trying to make him feel better.

"You don't get it do you? This is the first time in countless relationships that I have actually, REALLY fallen for a girl." Aaron tried to explain.

"She's not beautiful, she's not very rich, she's not perfect. But something in me is just attracted to her so badly. I'm blinded to other girls now. I don't see anything in them other than this one girl. If someone did put a spell on me, whoever did it must be really satisfied."

"You're really into this relationship aren't you." Kai spoke, deep in thought.

"Hell yeah I am. I can't stop thinking of her man. Even the thought of it freaks me out sometimes." Aaron shook his head in disbelief. "It's amazing, the power of love."

Still deep in thought, Kai patted Aaron on the shoulder again.

"Hey, you and I both know what you must do right now. We've been through shit loads before, this is just another one of em. So never give up nor give in. Be patient, you'll make it out alive. And If you work hard enough, you might just stumble across the key. Don't stress it out to much, relax yeah."

"Yeah balls. I hear you man." Aaron said in a softer tone then turning to smile at Kai. "Thanks man."

Love is not an easy game to play when it come to the real deal.
It has taken millions of lives, broken billions of hearts and shattered countless dreams.
Yet it is fair to supply happiness, prosperity, pleasure and even wealth to those who dare to play the game.

Another day, another post. :)
I'm wondering whether this blog even has reader's or not. Nobody seems to be commenting!

Tell me
Just what you want me to be
One kiss
And boom youre the only one for me
So please tell me
Why dont you come around no more?
Cause right now
Im crying outside the door of your candy store

It just takes a little bit of this, a little bit of that
It started with a kiss
Now were up to bat
A little bit of laughs, a little bit of pain
Im telling you my babe
Its all in the game of love

Aaron sat on the sandy beach and gazed out into the orange sunset. His thoughts wondered off to the problems which have been poking into his life. A million thoughts were running through his mind as he thought of work, family, and his friends. He then stopped at a familiar face pictured in his mind, dear Juliet.

The once bright and sunny sky seemed to have been covered by a great dark velvet. And soon it was glittering with a million sparkling stars. Aaron looked up into the open night. Pictures of him and Juliet flashed in his head.

It was back then in Tioman Island when both of them, together with a group of other friends, were waiting for their burgers at a coffee shop near the beach.

"Juliet," Aaron took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd. "Look up."

"Wow! It's beautiful!" Juliet exclaimed as she gazed up into the night.

They were standing under a beautiful array of stars scattered throughout the night sky.

"I've never seen such a beautiful sight." She said again, turning to Aaron.

"Neither have I my dear." Aaron said, as he looked deep into her sparkling brown eyes. "Neither have I."

Aaron took her hand and led her to the beach where they stood, hand in hand, under the starry night sky.

Suddenly, a heart wrenching pain shook Aaron from his reminisce.

"Juliet, I swear I won't give up nor give in." Aaron thought to himself, trying to control the unbearable pain inside.

"I can't believe I missed that opportunity. I was so stupid!"

Never wait to let fate decide. For time will never wait for anyone, and fate will never be on your side if you do not try.

If you love someone, tell him/her so. Only then you will have the answer you are looking for.
Keeping it to yourself will only create mixed feelings and misunderstandings.

Another one will be up soon, keep tuned in :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So baby I will wait for you
cause I don't know what else I can do
Don't tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life

Baby I will wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just ain't true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do
I'll wait for you

Remembering Sunday : Page 2

Staring at his Web Messenger, Aaron gave a long sigh and shook his head. He felt as if the sky had fallen on him and he was left to support it on his back. He could not explain why he was feeling useless all of a sudden. His thoughts lingered from his work, jumped to his family, then to his friends. It then stopped at a familiar face, Juliet.

"Hey you.. What are you up to?" Aaron typed, hoping to have a chat with dear Juliet.

There was no reply. He waited patiently, occasionally forgetting his purpose.

"It clearly stated in the Web Messenger software that she was logged in. But why is she not replying?" He asked himself. "Was it because of last night?"

Juliet was known to rarely reply to any messages on her Web Messenger and even her cell phone. This situation was not surprising to Aaron but his heart fears that he might have made a mistake on the night of his confession.

An hour passed, but still no answer.

Thinking she might be busy or away, he went to continue his own chores. Three hours passed and it was late in the evening. A chat box popped up on Aaron's computer desktop.

"Sorry. I was away from my lappie*. I just woke up. Haha!" Was the reply.

Aaron smiled, feeling the warm tickle inside of him as he read the reply.

"Haha. No worries :) " He typed, still smiling at the reply.

It might be just a simple reply to one party, but to another, it is all they are looking forward to.
Just a simple reply can do wonders just like, how a smile can create a difference in the world.

Continuation of the previous very very very short story. ;)

Hoped you enjoyed it.. Comments are appreciated. :D
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I stared up at the stars
I wonder just where you are
You feel a million miles away(I wonder just where you are)

Was it something I said?
Or something I never did?
Or was I always in the way?(Was it something I did?)
Could someone tell me what to say to just make you stay?

I need a little more luck than a little bit
Coz every time I get stuck the words won't fit
And every time that I try I get tongue tied
I need a little good luck to get me by

I need a little more help than a little bit
Like the perfect one word no one's heard yet
Coz every time that I try I get tongue tied
I need a little good luck to get me by this time

I know it feels like the end
Don't want to be here again
And we could help each other off the ground so we never fall down again
What it takes I don't care
We're gonna make it I swear
And we could help each other off the ground so we never fall down again.
Again..

Remembering Sunday

Let me tell you a factual love story of a boy who fell deeply in love with a girl..
I'll name the boy, Aaron Crome. The girl will be Juliet Rulle. Enjoy.. ;)

The rain poured down heavily on the Lion City, just a day after its 44th Birthday. Aaron sat on his study chair as he gazed out the window into the blurry view of the surrounding HDB apartments.

"I'm still not alright." His heart told Aaron. "I can't stay in peace without turning back into the past. I need an answer soon."

Yesterday turned out to be a day of relief and nervousness for Aaron. Whatever happened yesterday was totally uncalled for and was truly the confession of a wet paper heart.

"You know, I'm gonna miss you when you fly off to China." He said, as he turn his head to look at the girl of his dreams.

"Aww. That's so sweet of you." She blushed. "Erm.. After this, our friendship.. It won't break right?"

"Hey, it will never break. You know that." He smiled reassuringly.

"But I thought we were only good friends?" She asked confused.

"But I was hoping we could be more than just good friends." He replied, looking deeply into her eyes.

Aaron was in a tragic heartfelt state. He has never loved someone so deeply before. And now, for the first time, he was lost; he did not know what to do.

"I love you, I really do." He thought to himself. "Why can't you just love me back the same way?"

"Could you at least think about it? Please?"He asked, hoping she would give him a chance.

"Yeah, I'll think about it, while I'm away in China. I have to concentrate on exams now."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were boys, born to be men.
But one thing's for sure, be it boys or men, we will always have a heart for the ladies. ;)

How's that? Leave a comment and let me know. I intend to write a longer piece but I was running outta time. So this'll do for now. Will write more when I'm back.. I have to start writing again to improve my English. xP

Anyways, hope you enjoyed my very very very short story.. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I swear that you don't have to go
I thought we could wait for the fireworks
I thought we could wait for the snow
To wash over Georgia and kill the hurt
I thought I could live in your arms
And spend every moment I had with you
Stay up all night with the stars
Confess all the faith that I had in you
I had in you

To late, I'm sure
and lonely
another night, another dream wasted on you
Just be here now
against me
You know the words so sing along for me baby..
